A graduate of KEDGE business school, Chrystèle worked for over 10 years in the financial sector in France and the United States, before joining the charity sector, helping migrants. She joined 1001fontaines in 2017, first in Switzerland where she contributed to the creation of the charity, and now in London with the mission to develop the UK partnerships.

Amandine Chaussinand

Teuk Saat 1001 – Cambodia

Since 2014, Amandine has worked at Teuk Saat 1001 on marketing and capacity-building projects, then as Operations Director. She then led the model’s replication in Myanmar from 2018 to 2021. Since 2022, she has been leading the initiative in Cambodia, as Teuk Saat 1001’s Managing Director.

Luke Barrett

Ranontsika – Madagascar

Originally from the United States, Luke has been living in Madagascar for over 18 years. He joined 1001fontaines in 2014 and founded the Malagasy NGO Ranontsika to lead the implementation of activities. In 2019 he founded the social business Colab Sarl to operate a water quality laboratory and drinking water service in Tamatave. His engineering background and knowledge of water quality coupled with a desire to innovate have helped strengthen 1001fontaines’ expertise in this field.

Francis Phan

O-We Water – Vietnam

A Euromed Management graduate specialized in international business, Francis joined O-We Water in 2021 as General Manager. His knowledge of Vietnam and his 7 years’ experience in trading and industry in emerging countries bring an experienced perspective to the project.

Zahid Shashoto

Uttaran Paani – Bangladesh

Zahid works on water governance, disaster risk management and climate change adaptation with Uttaran, a Bangladeshi NGO. He coordinates the “Uttaran Paani” safe drinking water project, run jointly with 1001fontaines.

An Environmental Management graduate from North South University and an Environmental Change and Management graduate from Oxford University, Zahid has conducted research into post-disaster adaptation strategies and the influence of humanitarian organizations.

Anisha Karn

Project Manager – Nepal

Anisha is a sustainable business expert with over 12 years’ experience in the WASH, energy and telecommunications sectors. Specializing in market development and innovation, she focuses on impact projects in Nepal.

After a year as a consultant where she developed sustainability and growth strategies for projects in Nepal and Asia, Anisha is now joining 1001fontaines to bring a new safe drinking water project to life in Nepal.
